At first the product sounded great and was easy to use. After 2 months, the button body got hot randomly, although it kept working, and the next day the PC doesn't recognize the connected USB. I tried several PCs and none of them even registered the USB connection, which narrowed the problem down to the headset itself. Since there was no visible damage to the case, cable, or headset, I opened up the button case to find any obvious signs of damage. The real problem seems to be the manufacturing. The black wires on either side of the board had the actual strands cut, leaving 2 or 3 strands of 30 to complete the circuit. With minimal use, the wires that stayed connected to the black wire broke within 2 months. The red, wire, and yellow wires had less wire slack and would be more susceptible to damage if the wire was tightened. It looks like the strain relief process damaged the black wire and they put it back together anyway. The headset was great for the first two months and now I need to buy something else.
