Not good with my Brother machine

The price made me buy this set. Unfortunately, that's all that's good. I use a Brother SE-400 and my car didn't like the threads. They are slightly thicker and rougher than other yarns I have such as Gütermann polyester, Coats and Clark, Star cotton, Madeira viscose and Sewology cotton from Hobby Lobby. My car made strange noises and kept breaking down. In the end I realized that it's not worth it and it's just a waste of money and time.
