Review on 17-Piece Grey Silicone Cooking Utensil Set - Non-Stick, Heat Resistant, Stainless Steel Handle by Luckie Davidson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cookware sets are slightly shorter

They are about 3/4 inch shorter than my previous set and that certainly makes a difference. This plays a role in use and storage. I have a lot of tools and didn't even try to use the tiny holder that came with this set, but the shorter length makes a difference in the already cramped space I had. I had to take 2 pieces out so I didn't have to struggle to get things in and out easily. So keep that in mind if you have other tools besides this set. Perhaps because these instruments are at their widest point, hitting other instruments. IDK. I don't find them well balanced in my hand and you definitely feel the heat a little more when cooking, especially in deep pots or with high temperature items. The blades aren't as strong as I'd like them to be. You are too flexible. Most silicone spatulas are not suitable for more food. Delicate items or the possibility of being hit by very flimsy food are easy, but they're not as bad as some I've used. I throw them in the dishwasher regularly and have done that maybe 50-60 times on most. Only 1 has a small spot of rust that appeared quite early. It hasn't gotten worse. The silicone tip and hanger on the end would make me send them back if I was planning on hanging them like I usually do. I believe this kit will last a few years at best, after which it will need to be replaced. compared to my last set which was over 15 years old and just had to be replaced before the fire. They would have been returned if they didn't match the color of many of my other items they were placed with.
