Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Unleash Outdoor Adventure: Radio Flyer Red Rider Trike for Toddler Ages 2 ยฝ - 5! (Amazon Exclusive) by David Herman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good tricycle for kids!

Addendum: This little trike is still in good shape 3 years ago The front fender keeps sliding to the side, I almost wonder if it wouldn't be wiser not to fit it all the way. Our second child is now the same age (25 months) as our first when I wrote the original review. The favorite is once again the Micro Scooter, but this bike is a solid second choice and offers a different riding experience. Although both are tall, she is slightly taller than her sister (90% vs. 80%) and can kick independently (forward and backward) 100% of the time. So if you have a bigger child; 2 is the right age for this. previous. Review: This is a great product, but if you're just trying to pick ONE ride toy, I recommend the Micro "Mini" Kickboard Scooter. We bought a refurbished toy from the company's website and it has been our daughter's favorite toy for 9 months now. In fact, I just bought the adult version because she was so fast at it at 2 years old that I was struggling to keep up with her. (Another friend bought a Little Tykes version for his 2 year old and it's SIGNIFICANTLY worse so be sure to spend the extra money on the Micro.) Now on this trike, I bought this for our 20 month old because it was something like that . the one my neighbor's kids rode on and our daughter always tried to steal it when she saw it. She likes it (just not as much as Micro). At first she walked on it with her feet, but since the wheels are "fast" she was soon able to almost walk with it. Now at 25 months she has learned to pedal about 30% of the time. Also older kids in the neighborhood (4+/-) seem to be happy to borrow it to ride around the block every now and then. The only issue we had was the fender on the front wheel, which sometimes slipped and slid sideways, or the "trunk" that popped out of the rear handlebars. Both are easy to put back in place. She also has a Strider balance bike for reference. The balance bike is good for her, but she's only now learning to keep her weight on it and "slip" every few steps. In order of preference: Micro Mini, Radio Flyer Trike, Strider Bike. As I said, this bike is VERY similar to the ones my neighbor's girls had when their eldest (5) was little and has since passed on to the youngest girl (3). Both older girls say this one is "faster" than the previous model. I attribute this to the fact that the wheels are different. So when in doubt about buying a used car or buying a new one, buy a new one.
