My 14 year old kid steals my headphones like a drug addict on a booze. Then, of course, they get washed, kicked, or stolen by one of their fiendish headphone friends - and I'm the only one still hanging around. That price allowed me to satisfy her addiction and keep the headphones. Too bad I cut the wire on the first pair I opened with scissors because they are BIATCH to open. BUT worth every penny - and I think I only paid a penny for it at the time. It looks like the price has gone up a lot since then, so I'll be searching Revain for the lowest prices to satisfy my child's addiction AND still be able to drown out all the background noise of life myself.
