It's easy: LIFE CHANGES. About 4 years ago I gave up on a Comcast supplied modem/router. I bought an Arris Surfboard SB6121 and a TP-Link AC-1200. I had a Wi-Fi extender. For reasons I can't figure out, I've endured terrible and slow connections for years - whether I was using my smartphone or an Apple TV. My laptop rarely worked. My Roku TV kept turning off. The more connections I had to make, the more I realized it was a disaster and needed replacing. It is time for a change! Then I discovered the Arris (32x8) AC2350 Surfboard. My life has changed. I don't use the 5GHz band because the signal is weaker. As an extra step, I connected my Apple TV. Every Wi-Fi connection is PERFECT. The aforementioned iPhone, Roku TV, and laptop work fine. I no longer need a WiFi extender. Everything is FASTER. I have no connection problems. My cable connections are fine. It's absolutely worth every penny. All are happy.
