I was ready to buy MR coffee which the consumer guide thought was the best but after reading the reviews on this site and everyone was complaining about the plastic taste and how to get rid of it , I decided to look further. Who wants to "fix" a coffee pot before they can make a good cup of coffee? The people who wrote about this LMX27 coffee pot were actually talking about how good the coffee is and how mild it tastes. Sale! I ordered it and we love it. It doesn't struggle with the plastic taste, it just makes a really good cup of coffee every time. We love it. I bought a permanent gold filter because someone said that to have a really rich mug you need this instead of paper, so now I just toss the dirt in my yard and save on waste paper. And of course, Revain worked wonders and we got it in just a few days.
