trunk fits my 2004 camry but the clips that come with it are weird and no instructions. Also, I've tried this method on several YouTube videos showing how to slip a boot over the end of a tie rod using a plastic bag cap and lots of lube. It didn't work for me even when I tried softening the rubber with a heat gun. Finally I drew a mark on the tie rod and lock nut and carefully calculated the number of turns it would take to remove the tie rod without moving the lock nut. After putting the boot on, I reinstalled the tie rod and attached it exactly as it was removed and reattached. No problem. As for the brackets, I threw them away. I used a very strong, thick latch to clamp the big end of the boot and reused the spring clamp that was on the small end before. You will need a tool to separate the tie rod end from the Pittman arm, which you can rent from an auto parts store or buy at the docks for a few dollars. No hard work.
