This Beck Arnley 103-3069 steering boot kit fits my Toyota A 2007 Sienna like a glove and it saved me $450 (the toyota dealer quoted me $450 for a boot)..It's a little tricky to get the narrow end over the tie rod but with a little push and pull it works. This boot is made made of thick pliable rubber so it stretches without tearing this new inner or outer tie rod boot tie rod boot. They only come with a large shell and that statement is a bit tricky to use but I manage I prefer it on tight…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Minor issues

trunk fits my 2004 camry but the clips that come with it are weird and no instructions. Also, I've tried this method on several YouTube videos showing how to slip a boot over the end of a tie rod using a plastic bag cap and lots of lube. It didn't work for me even when I tried softening the rubber with a heat gun. Finally I drew a mark on the tie rod and lock nut and carefully calculated the number of turns it would take to remove the tie rod without moving the lock nut. After putting the boot…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Perfect fit - even with a clip, it stays in place.

I have no idea what the wire with the two circles at the end is for, other than tensioning the belt. I saved and reused my outer clip. To make sure your alignment is fine. Use the side of a popsicle stick and some paint. Draw a thin line from the end of the tie rod to the locknut (at the top two sides of the hex and then down to the threads on the inner tie rod. Loosen the outer end of the tie rod - making sure the locknut and inner end stay in line with the tie rod) . with your marks Remove…

So far, so good. Ease of installation.

My rack boot broke so I found this replacement boot. I was looking for a way to change shoes without damaging the toe adjustment and I found it. The youtube video you need to look for shows the service technician using a bolt that looks like a funnel part to attach the end of the tie rod, lubricating the funnel and all the metal parts after cleaning them of course, and then put the boot on the shaft. It takes some strength and patience, but it's not difficult to do. Just take your time and let…

Just made today - Rack and Pinion

When I first tried it the price doesn't bite. took two hours. First time using an idler pulley puller to remove the tie rod (heavy landing but still easy enough). Use plastic bag lube per youtube but use a large flathead screwdriver (took a few minutes) to get through, this is for a 2010 toyota sienna, passenger side (common problem per youtube, this car had nothing but issues), water pump failed on 39,000, transmission failure at 60,000, now power steering failure at dealership for 85,000…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
