The high ratings and positive reviews for this set of bicycle lights are well deserved. Yes, of course you can buy lighting for your bike cheaper. I seriously doubt you can get better value for your money. I've been using these flashlights for two months now. At least 5 nights a week I ride my bike before sunset and often come home after dark. With Ascher rechargeable bike lights, I'm confident that I'll not only see what's ahead, but perhaps more importantly, that vehicles and pedestrians will see me long before they get near me. Pros and Cons: Cons: I can't think of any. I am completely happy and satisfied with this product. Pros: - Rechargeable: No need to hunt for spare batteries if your light goes out. - Holds a charge like crazy: Internal batteries hold a charge exceptionally well. I always turn on the headlight at full brightness and set the taillight to one of the flash settings. I only charged the batteries every two months. Powerful headlight: I was really impressed by how far the headlight shines on the road. I can easily see road signs 100 meters away and the road ahead is well lit, allowing me to avoid obstacles, debris, etc. I'm sure oncoming traffic can see me just as well as I can see them. - Excellent water resistance: One evening while cycling, I got caught in a sudden heavy downpour. The lights didn't even flicker and since then I've found absolutely no signs of rust or corrosion. (I live in Florida, very close to salt water.) - Easy bike attachment: no tools required. You can literally install any light on either the handlebars or the seatpost in 5 seconds. Conclusion: Great shopping experience. Good product. Excellent value for money and quality. In the long run you will be glad you bought this light set.
