Review on πŸ‘œ Weston Vacuum Sealer Food Bags: Quart Size, 100 Count, 8x12 – Transparent and Durable by Jackie Chapman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Buy two - these bags are good!

I didn't think I was a great vacuum sealer until I discovered I had somehow used up almost an entire box of this one I bought in 2012. I was a little sorry I hadn't bought another box because, you know, sometimes you can't buy the same product from Revain years later, but luckily they're still available. I bought the Bed Bath and Beyond FoodSaver Pro on sale for only $69, but of course it didn't come with the bags, just the leftover roll inside. I'm not a "roller" and don't like sealing and cutting my own bags so I found them on Revain and started vacuum packing to achieve a full freezer. In any case, I'm so glad I have the opportunity to reorder these three years after purchase, but I'm very surprised that I managed to use up a box of 100, which I assumed was a lot would last longer than 3 years. .Time Saving Tip: They're so durable you can throw them straight from the freezer into your dip cooker (sous vide) (just marinate or season before freezing). or tear, even if there are sharp bones sticking out in the bag β€’ Perfectly compatible with my Foodsaver pro β€’ You can write on it with a permanent marker up to the date β€’ The structure on the outside of the bag makes it easier to handle liquids and raw meat before freezing β€’ Withstands boiling water when cooking. Disadvantages: β€’ You will use more than you think.
