Review on GIGABYTE M32U-SA: FreeSync Compatible 4K Ultra HD Monitor, 144Hz Refresh Rate, Adaptive Sync, HDMI Connectivity by Bill Hasanuddin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

With very little competition, this easily beats the price and interface.

I'm upgrading from a Samsung 32" 4K curved monitor. The main difference is obviously the high refresh rate. Samsung offers this refresh rate for almost twice the price, which I didn't want to pay. Great: All cables are included. You need three types of power cords for different regions, HDMI and DisplayPort. Height and tilt adjustment is better than most large monitors. Assembly is very easy, even by monitor standards. Software: WOW! Gigabyte offers the ultimate in customization for every aspect of monitor functionality. Color balance and contrast are just the beginning. Anything you can imagine can be customized in software that doesn't require the usual clunky physical buttons. can be configured in the software interface, it's very convenient compared to every other monitor I've had (and I've had many). for), curved and 144 Hz in the same product? Not much, that's for sure. I found two, the second one is Samsung which I mentioned earlier and costs around $1100. Professional reviews rate that gigabyte higher without even looking at the price. Not so good: My previous Samsung 60Hz monitor is brighter. I didn't do repeated testing, but I did subjectively notice a difference as soon as I hooked up this new monitor. The adjustability in software for contrast, sharpness, etc. probably accounts for some of that difference, but the fact that Samsung makes better displays can't be ignored. However, Gigabyte's attention to detail and customization is definitely appreciated.
