Review on πŸ”’ Subaru Authentic 35047AC030 Complete Joint, 1 Pack, Metallic by Shane Palma

Don't just buy (all) bushings and rebuild the old ones

Complete joint replacement is not required on most older Subarus vehicles. Instead, just rubber bushings. The roll pin isn't worth the trouble unless you completely disengage the transmission. I used bushings from the joint in my old one and it worked fine. Fixed side-to-side rattle (but not up and down). I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about how parts move in a car. Great experience, but make sure to replace any other shift stabilizer bushings while you're down there. Saves a lot of hassle and time doing everything twice like I did. Remove the heat shield for an easier time. Only 4 screws, it's worth it.
