Review on ⛽ Kohler Engines 25-050-21S Fuel Filter by Bob Schultz

Installed on my Craftsman tractor 917.272481 with Kohler CV893 engine. With the previous CarQuest filter, my tractor would stall at anything but a moderate speed, which was very annoying as there were a lot of little "hills" on my lawn. After installing this filter, my tractor doesn't stall as long, but it still stalls on turns from time to time. In my experience, Kohlers have never handled temperatures above 75-80F (vapor lock) so I don't blame the filter. Even when my tractor was new, it crackled when hot. I have a Craftsman trim mower with a Honda engine that never stops no matter how hot it gets.
