Ok, so got this to hide my tape lights in my kitchen.*They do knock down the brightness a little, but good diffusion*If you are mounting on an area that will cause some reflections, you will see the "hot spots" like in my second picture.*The amount of hangers they include isn't enough. I had to get creative with a few that were under-cabinets because after I cut them into smaller sections, I started to run out of hangers.*I used a metal blade in my jigsaw to cut the channels with ease.used scissors for the lens.*When you have ends and you cant use their caps, cut the lens a little longer to reduce hot spots of light
