Review on Amana Tool 46172 K Carbide Compression by Keith Samuel

Tried one of these 3/8" and 7/8" CEL shank compression end mills as they were about 30% cheaper than similar tools of the Vortex 3400 series from us. On about 12 sheets in the work, chips began to appear in the finished material. Went back to our used/grossly worn (now 25 sheets or so) Vortex 3485, and no chipping. Amana is excellent but for us she just couldn't take it.
