This does not seal on my Presta valves. It leaks air around the valve when using so you cannot get an accurate reading. Had it replaced and the new one does the same thing on both my bikes. Contacted the company and they said to take it apart to see if any metal shavings are in the way from the manufacturing process. Didn't work. piece of crap in my opinion. Spend the extra $10 on the Accugauge brand. I did and it seals perfect.UPDATE!If you are using a tubeless tire set up, this kind of gauge will always get destroyed fairly quickly and become extremely inaccurate. Even the better Accugauge one. The tubeless tire fluid eventually gums these up to unusable. It can happen very very quickly as well. This even happened to the gauge on my $125 Park Tool Shop Inflator for my compressor. Sad Face!In my experience if you want an accurate gauge (and for it to stay accurate!) you need one attached to a good floor pump. With a longer tube before the gauge, the tire goo has a lot further to travel before it can get into the gauge mechanism. After every use of my Topeak JoBlow Mountain X bike pump with 0 to 60 PSI gauge (HIGHLY RECOMMEND BTW), I make sure to pump some air through it and clean up the tip so the fluid can never make it back into the gauge area. Works like a charm so far with no inconsistent air pressure readings and been using it for over a year now! Happy Trails!
