Not as many as you think

The model name of this headset gives the impression that this device can withstand bumps, but actually I don't think it's anything more than a simple 1-1 threadless headset / 8 inches; The only exception is that the bottom balls are slightly larger than the top ones. This headset does not seal very well and the split plastic centering cone protrudes slightly above the rest of the upper assembly and is exposed which allows water to get into the unit well with this headset. The bearing surfaces are not polished, they are black like the rest of the device. Assembly and adjustment was quick and easy (I have a professional headset press), but the unit doesn't feel as smooth. And before installing it, I had the correct "face" of my frame's head tube. I received the headset with all the parts pictured and the only thing that sets it apart from other FSA Hammer headsets is the lack of the 'Hammer' badge on one of the cups. Maybe these are old stocks and the current stocks have the emblem. Or maybe I have a budget headset. For the price I paid it wasn't worth the hassle of finding out or sending it back. And the details are visually consistent with the images of the "Hammer". "Headset I found on google images. For the price I'm sure this headset will get the job done. but for how long? If it doesn't work I'll buy a better model. If you want a basic headset for little Looking for money this one is as good as any.Maybe better than some, maybe not.If you use the headphones in wet weather/environments such as a daily commute in the rain or driving a wet and muddy one way, you might be better off finding another headset that's a little better sealed.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • There's nothing here
