Review on 💧 High-Quality Cartridge Replacement for Delta Monitor 17 Series Shower Faucet Valve (2006-Present) - Includes RP46073 Seat and Spring Adapter by David Ross

I bought this replacement cartridge (RP46463) from Revain because it was about 1/3 the OEM cost of Delta. I replaced my original cartridge using Delta Faucets' excellent YouTube video (highly recommended). It worked great for about a month, then the temperature knob gradually got harder and harder to turn and now it's almost impossible to move. After my problems with a replacement cartridge, I called Delta Faucets (1-800-345-3358) and came to see if this cartridge was professionally installed at your home from the start and is covered by a lifetime warranty. Delta Faucets sent me a brand new OEM cartridge for free and it has been working great ever since. So I replaced the non-original one. In a pinch you can use the aftermarket (it came in less than two days) but I would definitely NOT recommend it for long term use. I would recommend contacting Delta for a free cartridge that is under warranty or pay extra money for an OEM cartridge if needed.
