Review on Felpro VS50687R Valve Cover Gasket by Patrick Gibb

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The part is fine, but do your research before you jump into the 5.4-litre F150.

Problematic operation on a 2007 5.4 liter F150. Make sure you do some research before taking any chances as this is quite a difficult task. I was able to remove the passenger side without cutting off the A/C refrigerant flow (which the manual says was drained prior to the project) but this requires removing everything possible from that side of the engine bay and plastic wheel arch. The driver's side is a bit simpler, but definitely not very fun. The seal worked fine. could have used a little more meat to better fit the valve cap groove as mine fell out when trying to put the valve cap back on. which caused a bit more work as I didn't realize it until I started the truck. I would suggest using some silicone in the groove to hold this gasket in place during installation.
