My favorite marker paper for illustrations

I'm a freelance illustrator/2D animator and I LOVE using this Bristol paper for marker illustrations. Weight to it - wonderful size! I put it in my purse and of course it fits perfectly in my backpack or pocket. - Works great with markers! Minimal feathering and no ink bleeding. I've used the following markers with it: Copic Sketch and Copic Ciao Markers (mostly what I used), Spectrum Noir, Winsor & Newtorn Brushmarkers (formerly a Letraset brand but W&N took over), Marvy Le Plume Brushmarker (second most popular, I love these markers by the way! very cheap and a 1A+ alternative to Copics) and Prismacolor brush markers. You'll get through your marks faster. (This goes for every Bristol.) - I WANT EVERY brand to come out with a spiral bound paper like this! I absolutely hate perfect bindings. Papers tend to fall out and that annoys me. (Although the binding is better than the cheaper brands. The pages don't fall out /as easily/.) All the images in the photos are my original content and they were all made using this paper and Copic, Prismacolor and Le Plume markers. All characters depicted in my drawings belong to my clients/commission agents. DO NOT USE my work without my permission! And DO NOT use these characters without their owner's permission.

Pros
  • Perfect for pen, ink, mechanical drawing, airbrush and markers
Cons
  • I will add later
