Excellent paper for felt-tip pens and colored pencils.

My son recently started studying art. He's only been doing this for 7 months, but he's been doing it since he got this item. Now I let him do the job. This article is phenomenal. It handles my marks very well and allows for a lot of blending. I use the bic 36 fine point set. Then I go over the markings with colored pencils. I use the prismacolor 48 set for this. Because I used markers, the paper is now the color I want. And the markers don't even change the texture of the paper. With the help…

This is an excellent heavyweight paper for almost any artwork! It's virtually non-bleeding and works great with medium and large format inkjet printers. The heavy drawing board is great for markers, crayons and all types of ink pens. Also great for acrylic painting! I'm a marker and crayon illustrator and this is one of my last illustration boxes! Ideal for applying smooth colored markers or crayons. Great board for any type of ink pen and ink! I love and tend to use bigger boards so they are…

Best paper I've ever used

I spend about 8-10 hours a day drawing and creating which requires a lot of paper. I also pay attention to clear lines and clear geometry. Because of this, I need good paper all the time (and believe me, there are crappy papers out there) and I really can't afford problems. This Strathmore Bristol 300 series is by far my favorite. I take a 19x24 inch notebook and cut it. It is smooth as silk and perfect for illustration. It doesn't bleed even if you hold an alcohol marker on it for a while…

My favorite marker paper for illustrations

I'm a freelance illustrator/2D animator and I LOVE using this Bristol paper for marker illustrations. Weight to it - wonderful size! I put it in my purse and of course it fits perfectly in my backpack or pocket. - Works great with markers! Minimal feathering and no ink bleeding. I've used the following markers with it: Copic Sketch and Copic Ciao Markers (mostly what I used), Spectrum Noir, Winsor & Newtorn Brushmarkers (formerly a Letraset brand but W&N took over), Marvy Le Plume Brushmarker…
