Review on 📀 Toshiba DVD/VHS Recorder (DVR620) Without Tuner (Discontinued 2009 Model) by Oso Mears

Burnt by buying Funai that cannot rewrite VHS to DVD, this time I carefully read not only personal reviews, some of which are obviously fake, but also the statements of the manufacturer . Toshiba clearly states that this device will transfer VHS to DVD. The device I received will not. The instructions suck, I had to get precise instructions elsewhere from people calling Toshiba support. So yes I had a DVD_R, yes I set the record mode to L1 and yes I tried more than one tape. The car didn't want to modify the discs, so they are cup holders. It looks like the recording was successful, but until the disc is finalized, it cannot be played on any other computer. It doesn't auto complete so I had to try to do it manually and following the instructions very carefully the machine won't do what is shown on the web, press exactly the buttons shown, scroll through the triangles, no general setup , no manual controls. Finalize the disc. So I'm looking for a machine that will successfully and easily rewrite VHS to DVD, this is written on May 23, 2016, I don't know what to do now since it's been burned twice.
