They really are value for money. I've bought two of these so far! I am male 7 and have a large size. I set the setting to one level. So it will probably be a size 6 to 9 or so. The wheels work great both on a skateboard and on the pavement. And given the smaller wheels, these are good skates for beginners. There is a brake that can be adjusted on each foot or removed altogether. The first thing I did was take it off. I spent a few hours on a skateboard and rode at least 6 miles on tarmac and it stuck. Wheel wear is also not visible. In general very satisfied.
