Review on Remanufactured Wiper Motor by A1 Cardone, Model 40-299 by Josue Zepeda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It never rains when you want it to.

I currently work part time so it goes without saying that I am on a tight budget. I needed to replace my wiper motor on my pickup truck and decided this Cardone unit would be the right one. The problem with my wipers was that they would not "stop" after turning off. They just stopped wherever they were as soon as the switch was turned off. Even when the washer function was used, the wipers would not stop. I turned it off completely until I turned off the ignition. He should wipe three times and then park. No. It can be bad if you have to stop and stop to turn off the ignition every time you wash your windshield. Installation wasn't fun, but that's not the device's fault. This is just a semi-complex setup. A preview of the replacement showed signs of a typical redesigned assembly. Later, wiggle quickly. no "loose" parts rattle inside. Looks good. I disconnected the wiring harness from the old engine (still in the car) and connected it to the new block. With a firm grip on the device, my accomplice actuated the functions of the wiper switch one after the other and passed this preliminary test. After installation (the fit was perfect, by the way), another test showed that it worked perfectly. . not the voices in my head. the engine was pretty loud. The noise of a gearbox is how I would describe it. Time will tell about the durability. It never rains when you want it to. I live in Alaska. Alaska has a lot of rain. Fine. There was no rain for two months in a row. no lie. It finally started raining yesterday, at least I drove a bit. So far the engine is working perfectly. It should be noted that the "noise" mentioned is practically inaudible during operation and when driving on the road. Diploma. I think I made a very good purchase. I will update if anything changes. UPDATE: It's been almost three years now and still no problems. (April 9, 2015)
