Highly Recommended - Kitchen & Bathroom Installation

This faucet is a replacement for a 15 year old 'Signature' faucet with a single handle and pull out shower head. This faucet started leaking at the valve assemblies in the faucet body and I didn't want to try to fix them. Extraction of the old block took 2.5-3 hours. Corrosion and broken threads made this part of the job almost impossible. For this reason, and also because of the poor mechanical construction of the old device, there was much blood, sweat and tears on my part. Conversely, a new faucet was installed and tested in about 35 minutes. Two threaded connections for hot and cold supply and one large threaded connection for connecting the faucet to the sink. voila, done. Be sure to apply Teflon sealing tape to the hot/cold inlet fittings; it is not included in the package. The instructions are written in the Outer Mongolian language and translated into English, which would cause a brain collapse in any school teacher, i.e. "Installation complete, please check whether there is a leak or not." Fortunately, the illustrations are very good , which makes the verbal parts redundant but still fun. Everything was included in the package (except for the sealing tape); Escutcheon, spare gaskets, hex wrench and 3/8 to 1/2 adapter to connect hot/cold water (if required). Despite this, the new faucet is very functional and looks really good compared to the old one. I would highly recommend it and would add that the price was about $75-$100 less than similar brands. If it lasts as long as what he replaced then I'll be very happy.
