The design of the coffee maker is uncomfortable for the user! Cons: 1. The top lid of the coffee maker opens "from the side" instead of front to back, making it not user friendly! In addition, due to the wrong design of the top cover, you can only use the coffee maker in one way or keep it on the counter in only one way.2. The ability to view the water level from one side only, making it usable again from one side only.3. If you're left-handed, I don't recommend it due to the "right-handed" design (I'm not left-handed, but wanted to warn those who might be). The position of the water spout is not conducive to inserting the filter basket into the coffee maker; Besides, it is not easy to clean the spout underwater after the coffee is ready.5. Due to the wrong design of the water spout, the coffee will be "splashed" all over the lid of the coffee pot and not "INSIDE" the coffee pot. Sorry I had to write a bad review about the "Mr. Coffee" product; However, this coffee maker has too many 'fake' designs to recommend. I do NOT recommend this coffee maker! We've been using Mr. Kaffee for over 40 years; and it is NOT the premium design or craftsmanship that Mr. Coffee was known for so many years ago. oooh so sad!
