The mic is questionable and the lens has a weird fisheye effect

This is the second camera I've bought where the built in mic has terrible sound but it could be my car . A more serious issue is that the camera appears to be "wide angle" and creates a fisheye effect when the background behind me wraps around me. This is not a flat image at all.
