Just what you need to separate a cat and dog
Works great. I got it specifically to separate the cat food from our pup. The opening for the pet gate is too large for easy access, so I took the advice of other reviewers and cut a latch from the gate. You don't need any power tools for this, I used a mini hacksaw and it only took a minute. I then placed the open ends and sealed them with white tape. Also, I highly recommend using a pair of "Pressure Gate Safety Screens" to minimize damage to your wall - see pictures.
