I'm always wary of proprietary products, especially when it comes to litter boxes. We've tried two or three others systems that just didn't work out for our high-peeers. They were easy to put together and the boxes turn into a fun toy for the cats! That was an awesome perk that our cats love. We bought two of these which were $$, but so far our cats love them. We've had them for a few months now and the only qualm I have with them is that the plastic guard doesn't like to stay put in the slots. Whenever we scoop the litter we have to readjust and push the guards back down into their slots. But it's completely blocking the pee on the back side! That was the main reason we bought these. If you've got cats like ours, give these a try.
