If you bolt this throttle body to my 1994 4.0L intake you will notice an obvious drop from 62mm in the throttle body to 60mm in the intake but I noticed an immediate increase in throttle response! It also seemed to smooth out the powerband, making my Cherokee much easier to climb hills. I live at 6200 feet here in Colorado so a definite improvement! Remember that your inlet/head/outlet is only as strong as its weakest link. . So if you just attach the throttle body without opening other ducts, you may not see an obvious improvement. Be sure to go all out and install a cooling air intake and high flow exhaust to complement this throttle body. Since you need to remove the intake manifold to replace the exhaust manifold, you can also line up the gasket and connect the intake to the head and the intake to the air intake to the throttle body, which can be done with a marker, new gaskets, and a dremel with aluminum burr . The TB intake and rails have been moved to the head, definitely feel the difference throughout the powerband! I will say that my idle screw was low enough to bring the throttle snug to the TB hole, just enough to close the throttle. However, a small adjustment and a new Loctite solved the problem. Definitely worth it if you want to get performance out of your 4.0.
