Disappointing Temperature Reader for Kitchen Needs

Although the product promises wide temperature range reads, it lacks accuracy in readings larger than 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Based on my observations, it requires multiple tries to get the right temperature, making it time-consuming and impractical for home and kitchen use.
