This cat carrier is large, functional, foldable, durable and good looking. Low costs but short-term functionality were my priority. Since the price of this item is much lower than other carriers, I assumed the quality would not be very good. But I was content with just getting by now because I just needed something. I was so wrong! The quality is wonderful! I also have very little storage space so a foldable stretcher is a must. If you can remove the windshield shield, you can roll this thing back to its original size. But if you can't or don't want to, this carrier still folds up and might be easier to store if you do! I was also afraid it would be too small. But there is a lot of space in it. When I need to travel with a cat, it gives them enough space to move around and get comfortable while still providing that happy cave feeling that cats love. I think even your largest house cats will do just fine. The only thing I can foresee that will be an issue is zipping up quickly if your cat doesn't respond well to being placed in a carrier. This shouldn't be a problem for my cat, but you might want to consider it. But that's the same problem you'll run into with any carrier that comes with zippers, so I don't think it detracts from the value in any way. Very glad to have this item. A cat carrier is one of those tools that does a great job when needed. I'm glad I'm now prepared for any cat-related emergencies. And I'm very glad that I don't need to "upgrade" afterwards.
