🐱 NECOICHI Lightweight Pop-up Cat Carrier Review

Three kittens appeared on our doorstep. I found a no kill stash to see if they would take them (photos and all the info I have). A neighbor who worked at an animal shelter came to visit, saw the kittens and said she would adopt them. Received these tote bags to use (she had tote bags) and as gifts to the shelter. Excellent purchase. Small cats or kittens only.

Received this to bring home our 2 lb 8 week old kitten hoping it will last a while from being kept flat. Worked fine for the first month but taking her to the vet when she was almost 4lbs showed that if your kitten hates car rides the rigid side carrier is better in the long run. She was too wavy and assertive for me to have with me. No fault of the carrier, just better for small animals that stay small.

I have several pet carriers. I know it's pretty luxurious to have different straps for different reasons, but this thing was so cheap I figured why not? It worked almost as intended. I wanted it to get the kitten safely from the car to the motel room. My cat is quite big and she "only" fits in and I couldn't leave her in for a while (due to the size issue). However, it's very cute and if my cat were smaller I'm sure I would make a lot more of it.

My cat was very stubborn when placed in a cat carrier or bag and for this reason it was very difficult to take her to the vet. But an hour after putting that carrier on the floor, she voluntarily stepped onto it and continues to do so. Sometimes she even stays in it and seems very comfortable in it. I haven't tried transporting her yet, but at least she seems really enjoying being inside her, so I think there's a reasonable chance I could use it to make getting her to the vet easier.

3 stray cats recently adopted me. I wanted to fix them so I needed 2 carriers in addition to the one I already have. This carrier is cute but not suitable for any of my three cats. For the past 7 weeks I've left the stretcher open in our dorm room so they can explore stress free. This cat carrier is large, functional, foldable, durable and good looking. Low costs but short-term functionality were my priority. Since the price of this item is much lower than other carriers, I assumed the quality would not be very good. But I was content with just getting by now because I just needed something.
