Review on ATP B 210 Automatic Transmission Filter by Timothy Barnes

This kit is an identical OEM filter and seal replacement for a 2000 Hyundai Elantra Automatic. I've just finished installing and preparing to fill in the fluid after replacing the axles. Excellent kit, all parts were packed in protective plastic bags. Everything was clean. Including snap ring for side drain plug, folding seal and filter. The gasket failed to hold the fold line and was secured to the plumbing tray with three small dashes of blue caulk. Contrary to the picture, the gasket that came with my kit has a couple of protrusions that point outward. You have no influence on the installation. Do they perhaps appear to be just tabs for another installation, or tabs to hold the gasket in place during installation? As far as I can see there is no real need for tabs in this setup. Great kit!
