I use this monitor daily as my main work monitor (I have 4 PCs connected to it via Thunderbolt (x2 > external manual swap), DisplayPort (x1) and HDMI (x1)). I switch connections by plugging and unplugging my USB switch between computers When I switch between non-TB systems and in those cases just swapping the Thunderbolt cable between laptops is fine and I was planning on going full DP -Using the KVM route when that was a viable option (I had, but I really wanted to take advantage of frequency updates and getting GSYNC on a PC and a reliable KVM that can handle it just isn't possible right now - ConnectPro doesn't work properly ) Anyway, the USB ports on the back worked for about a month and today they no longer provide power or register a Unified Key Logitech So now I have to switch the USB stick between all my external systems, which sucks on a MacBook given the absence is your available ports (and the fact that the USB ports are all USB-C. USB switch installation (like KVM without the M). But the crux of the story is that the USB ports on the monitor failed after 30 days (perhaps after about 45 plug and unplug cycles). To fix this I would have to send the monitor to an LG service center and be left without an external monitor which would suck. Good. I donated my 34 inch screen to my wife to use as we are all working from home now :). So at the moment I'm a bit confused. It's just frustrating that $1600 monitor components fail after 30 days. to 1.2 on the monitor. This solved the problem for me.
