The standard 6 volt minimum charger uses spades so small you have to buy them separately. Also, this product uses such a (cheap) short cable that the quick connect point is very close to the battery itself. In my case, I'm planning on opening the hood or in some cases, like the Model A, raising and trimming the floor! It wasn't acceptable, I had to cut the wires, splice a longer wire, solder, shrink - until I did I could do it all myself with a standard Ctek connector. I complained to Mfg and the guy didn't understand what the problem was buying something to make the charger work with the vintage car it was designed for and when you get it the thing is so cheap that the cable is too short. The standard charger comes with the same short cable for a quick disconnect, but the grommets are for tiny screws, perhaps an old small motorbike would suffice. And the metal grommets were so cheap that trying to drill or ream them destroyed them.
