Review on Renewed Garmin Forerunner 35 Watch in White: Superior Performance at a Fraction of the Price! by Dangelo Toliver

I've been using the Forerunner 35 for two weeks and I'm satisfied, especially after using the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ which had a series of design flaws and finally a mechanical or software failure that led to its being discontinued after 8 years was returned to Garmin months. The Forerunner 35's large flat screen is much easier to read than the Vivosmart. It's smoother and doesn't get stuck in sleeves and pockets like the Vivosmart, offering a more ergonomic feel. The Forerunner 35 has a battery gauge on the main screen - you don't have to scroll through a few menus to see how much battery is left. remaining energy on this rechargeable device. The battery life of the Forerunner 35 is also much better, I only lasted two weeks without charging, while the Vivosmart HR+ barely lasted six days before it came on the charger. The Forerunner 35's traditional button controls are easy to use and much more reliable when navigating menus than the Vivosmart HR+'s touchscreen. Unfortunately, anything conductive can get onto the touchscreen, even water from the shower. Not that big a problem, but you have to go back to the home screen. No problem with the Forerunner 35's button navigation. As befits a digital watch. GPS connects quickly and accurately. The heart monitor is good and I haven't had any issues with how it tracks activities like sleep. Everything is good there too. I'm a runner so the device came in handy for training. It works well with Garmin Mobile Connect on my iPhone and saves data. To find a quick fix for the watch, they kept in touch and were helpful and accommodating. I decided to give Garmin devices another shot (by buying a Forerunner 35) because they had a good support team. These things are important to me. I would recommend the Garmin Forerunner 35 with four stars. I will update with further observations or criticism.
