at a price you just can't go wrong with these pedals. I'd say a solid 50 mile run and they're butter. Use at your own discretion as riding with spikes is sketchy. If you are a beginner I would not recommend it. I personally ate crap because I couldn't get my feet down in time just because of those pedals, instead loading them with play. I have a pair on my MTB, single speed and I've just ordered this third pair for my new fixed gear but I've decided to go the other way as I'm new to this and got these pedals on impulse since I have them and other bikes have been on mine, but fixed gear is a whole new story. Unfortunately I will be returning this pair but if you look closely you can see that 'Venzo' sells cleat combos and these pedals here at around 69.99 can't beat that and amazing quality cleats for me for my first ones both pairs, always take one size smaller, but my first pair was too big for my size. Also these pedals are solid after my destruction, they had a serious rash and still no tension issues between the pedal and my cleat etc. Spend $80 for a pair of pedals that do the exact same thing as these!
