when used on 53 Chevy LS with S10 frame. The motor mount location is the same as the stock s10 LS swap—about 3 inches behind the factory flip-plate mounts. Can't comment on the s10 cabin setup as I don't have it anymore but I can say that overall the setup is great with them - and for my use. Quality parts, great looking welds, and all at an incredibly good price. Factory location behind the gearbox. It also looks like they won't work with a factory sump sensor - a heater tape *might* work there, but it's pretty damn close.
