Wrong hardware best in headers and details

headers fit well, used to replace 6.0 with first gen s10. Disassembly of the steering shaft required for the cutterbar drive. They come with the wrong head hardware. Overall good for the price. But remember, you get what you pay for. For $85 they work well

Modification Required

I installed them on my 94 S10 with 5.3LS engine. Screw it in after raising the motor about 3 inches off the motor mounts. I actually had to clean the motor mount and modify the #4 cylinder barrel when it hit the steering shaft. I will also order thermal covers. The spark plug wire is also attached to the tube. After looking very carefully I had to use a hydraulic portable unit and move the bottom plate back 2 inches. You get what you pay for is all I can say.

when used on 53 Chevy LS with S10 frame. The motor mount location is the same as the stock s10 LS swap—about 3 inches behind the factory flip-plate mounts. Can't comment on the s10 cabin setup as I don't have it anymore but I can say that overall the setup is great with them - and for my use. Quality parts, great looking welds, and all at an incredibly good price. Factory location behind the gearbox. It also looks like they won't work with a factory sump sensor - a heater tape *might* work…
