Review on 🌬️ Mann Air Filter C25 114/1 by Shawn Hodges

Purchased with oil and cabin filters. I was hesitant to order it at first because not only was it a lot cheaper than OEM, but the installation guide said it wouldn't fit the Z4. Like the oil filter, I researched it for a while and picked it after reading a lot of forum comments recommending it specifically for the Z4. When it arrived a few days later with other filters, it was well packaged and everything was in perfect condition. When I pulled out the original, I was amazed that it was so much better made. Basically the OEM filter used plain foam rubber as a pre-filter and after 5+ years mine fell apart completely in the housing and I spent 5 minutes looking for bits of material. On the other hand, the MANN brand filter uses a fiber/mesh like pre-filter and I'm sure it will last much longer than the OEM foam filter. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, this filter is perfect for my 2005 BMW Z4 3.0i I6.
