Regarding other reviews of this case: MEGA means increased carrying capacity, not increased length. Can't comment on heavier kayaks like the 120lb Hobies, but they carried my modified 100lb Seaghost 130 very reliably (for 3 hours) using the two (2) straps provided and multiple front and rear (550) cords ) screeds. Required front and rear brackets as my crossbars are very close together. Top speed was 65 mph and when I got there the charge was still solid. The wings are slightly flexible and provide a secure base/mount for your kayak. I highly recommend the hood and trunk attachment straps, which zip into the hood or trunk to provide cable attachment points. 100% recommend this kayaker.
