
This was an interesting article. I know a few people who have them and love the ability to just leave the thermometer on and not open the oven/pot/grill hood. I thought it might be worth a try. The temperature readings were accurate and seemed easy enough to use by pressing the three buttons on top. I really liked the magnetic back of the display, so you can just stick it to the oven door. The only downside is that when cooking different cuts of meat like chicken breasts or steaks, you only get readings from one cut. I had to get a tray of chickens and probe each one. At this point it would be easier to have a traditional thermometer. It would be really good for something like pork shoulder or belly.
