Pure and simple the best in kitchen tools and gadgets

This meat thermometer is exactly what I wanted. It's simple and easy to use. Simply press the side button to pull out the probe, turn it on and pierce the meat. It lights up and provides instant and accurate readings. I appreciate the fact that cooking rates for popular meats are listed on the back. You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Just a tip, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't turn on the first time, but you have to take the battery out and remove the plastic wrap it's wrapped

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • No paint required

Perfect!: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I love this meat thermometer. I've always thought having a digital meat thermometer was a bit silly, but let me tell you I'm a much better cook now. No more dried chicken because I couldn't tell if it was done cooking or not, so I just kept cooking it to be sure. This thermometer is easy to read, use and clean. I love that it has a magnet so it stays on my fridge until I need it and I don't have to look for it in the drawer. I have used it several times for different types of meat and I highly…

Easy to use, good for kitchen utensils and gadgets

I chose this thermometer because I make a lot of homemade yogurt and this model was recommended for checking soy milk temperature before adding starter. Accuracy matters. I do not cook meat or any other food that requires supervision. I found this thermometer to be a good size and very easy to use. I have to trust accuracy because I have nothing to compare. So far my yogurt cultures are good, so I'm guessing it's accurate. I love the bright red color, it makes it easy to find a spot in a drawer

  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Requires outlet

My Favorite Non-Bluetooth Thermometer

Everything about this thermometer works well. It's well thought out and stocky, making it easy to grab and insert into the meat. I love the movement of the switchblade probe - it's instantaneous and feels great when it pops out. Finally, the magnet on the back is strong enough to prevent the thermometer from slipping or sliding off the sides of the fridge. The measurement is quick and the backlight stays on. So when I open them up and stick them in the flesh, I know I can take a quick peek and…

Convenient, fast, accurate and good for oven cooking and baking

I needed to replace a thermometer that had a worn probe over the years. This GOOD thermometer is handy, small, easy to store and seems accurate as far as I can tell. Batteries are quick to install and the thermometer has a magnetic back so it's unobtrusive and always close at hand. The probe folds easily like a Swiss Army knife and is long enough to be used for thick roasts. The display is easy to read and the device responds quickly to temperature measurements. I love this thermometer, it does

Decent thermometer in thermometers and timers

This was an interesting article. I know a few people who have them and love the ability to just leave the thermometer on and not open the oven/pot/grill hood. I thought it might be worth a try. The temperature readings were accurate and seemed easy enough to use by pressing the three buttons on top. I really liked the magnetic back of the display, so you can just stick it to the oven door. The only downside is that when cooking different cuts of meat like chicken breasts or steaks, you only get

Amazing grilling device

Today I took a Goodful meat thermometer for a test drive to examine its function and operation. My Ninja Foodi indoor grill has its own temperature sensor, it's my usual way of roasting pork chops at lunchtime and looks like a great test bench. loaded and ready to go. A slide switch on the back selects timer, temperature and off. I selected the temperature and then using the buttons at the top selected the pig icon which is 170F. Then I stuck a long probe into a pork chop, placed it on the…

Premium instant read with all features

My previous instant read thermometer died so I had to find a new one. I find it important to measure the core temperature when cooking meat and even when baking. The last homemade loaf of bread I made recently said that the loaf would be ready when the internal temperature reached a certain level. This is a far cry from the old way of inserting a toothpick or knife. Right? So I ordered this GOOD thermometer. This is a very nice improvement over my previous favorite thermometer. Here are the…

Simple, easy to use, a hit in the kitchen and on the grill

So a while ago I wanted to switch from the old dial thermometers which later can be unrealistic/fussy, to something that is instant and sure. Now I've always been a huge Weber fan and own 3, yes 3 of their grills (compact propane, compact charcoal for quick times and camping and a big charcoal beast for family picnics) with accessories and his brand that I knew and loved . trust. So I bought their thermometer for $24 and it broke for a little over a month because it was rarely used. No, I…
