Review on 🔑 Enhanced Motorcraft SW6285 Ignition Switch and Lock Cylinder for Superior Performance by Nolan White

This turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. The kit included four springs with five different depths of cut and eight springs. The manual includes a diagram showing how to measure the key and select the correct switch for each station on the key. This is where a digital caliper comes into play. The only other tool that would have made assembly easier was snap ring pliers for the retaining clip. I managed to get by with a bench vise, a flathead screwdriver, and another screwdriver as a fulcrum. The drawing showing how to line up the support brace was useless, but you can easily tell where it goes by comparing the brace to the grooves on the tailstock.
