Review on πŸš™ ReadyLift 2.5-Inch Lift Kit with Smart Suspension Technology - Xterra/Equator by Sean Sitton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits 2019 Frontier SV 4x4

It took me longer to install this kit than others who have written reviews, but I have to say I'm far from a mechanic. It took me about 6 hours to make the front and 2 hours to make the back. The rear was very basic, just a few things to watch out for. Making sure the axle is clear of the brake lines, lower the spare tire far enough to remove and replace the new bolts. You may also have a bit of a struggle on the passenger side bottom bolt as the exhaust pipe gets in the way a bit. The front end problem was breaking the top ball joints which took about 40 minutes really just needed a bigger hammer for this fight after borrowing a bigger ball joint hammer they broke free with 5-6 hits. Another problem was changing the lower cam bolts, which took about 50 minutes. Because these screws are spring loaded, I had a hard time aligning the screw holes. I found it very helpful to use a ratchet strap to solve this problem.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • The list will be long.
