Both my rescue Great Dane and I love this collar (she put her head on it when I first took it out of the box). 4 months later not a single gem has fallen out and the only wear and tear is it scratching the neck and even then these marks are not that noticeable. High quality collar especially for the price and I expect it to last for years. I have also received many compliments on the collar. I totally recommend it to friends 😊 The only warning for others is to remove the collar if you are using an external flea/tick medicine which I didn't and the spot on my girls neck turned blue for a few days 😂
