Review on Arkon Tablet Holder Samsung Galaxy by Brent Mosley

That's what you make of it

First, I read almost all the reviews about it here. Secondly, this is my first Arkon product so I am not biased towards the company. This desktop mount is very easy to install and there are many mounting options to choose from. There's a floor mounting plate if you want a 'tougher' mount that only takes a few seconds (and a screwdriver) to swap out. I decided to just loosen the saddle rail bolt, put it in place and tighten it. Nice and cozy and there is no wiggle room. The "flex" lever was stiffer than I expected, which in itself is a big plus. I didn't want to drive down the road and have a "standard" tablet that needs constant tweaking, but it doesn't. Once you get it in the right position, it stays in place. The only downside, if you can even call it that, is that the tablet shakes a bit when driving on the road, but why not? It's not difficult to install on anything, and there's only one point of contact (let's be honest) that supports a tablet. The sets of "fingers" they ship with the device allow me to use it with my Galaxy Tab 2 (both 10" and 7"). Once you place your fingers and proceed to insert the tablet, the mount expands to accommodate it and spring pressure holds the tablet SECURELY in place. Overall I have nothing to say in terms of "new perspective" but overall I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend it to any other mount. Sure, you can opt for a RAM mount, but why would you remove the center console to install a mount? This setup makes attaching and detaching the tablet much faster when you want to switch vehicles. As a side note, being able to remove the mount instead of putting the tablet in your fingers is a huge plus for me. I can pull out the tablet and mount it (together) by pressing the tab on the back. I just think it's easier to just take everything off, take it to work, and at the end of the day slide the mount back into place (and lock) and you're good to go.
