If you've got new floors In a room you know is going to last a long time, with lots of workers stomping around and ladders and miscellaneous equipment running around, this is it a product worth attention. The sturdy Ram Board has its place but is much easier to use while still offering long life and excellent protection. It's heavier than even strong rosin paper, but lays down almost as easily. I installed the new floor before I installed the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, but well before the other phases of a full apartment makeover. Rather than risk scratches or damage, I installed it wherever I expected heavy traffic. It will last up to a couple of months when workers move without cracking or chafing. It's in such good shape in many areas that I might even use it again if I had another job and wanted to save some money!
